• Learn dipole antenna principles for building a wire antenna
• Build a wire antenna from step-by-step instructions, tools provided
• Trim the antenna to tune it for resonance at your desired frequency band, antenna analyzer provided
• Breakdown antenna component functions and choices
• Receive guided instruction from experienced ham antenna builders

Wire antennas are the mainstay of amateur radio. Long before commercial antennas were common, wire antennas were the primary way hams got on the air. Wire antennas are very inexpensive and in this session you will learn the options, see the parts, and construct a wire antenna. The frequency band is your choice.
