What You Will Learn:

• You will learn whatever you want!   That is on the General Class exam, of course.
• Give us your troubling exam questions, and we will explain the answers.
• This is not a crash course on passing the exam, but instead is an opportunity to gain an understanding of the principles covered in the exam, and why they are important to you
• The General Class license enables you to:
  • Get on HF bands to communicate worldwide
  • Learn to speak with confidence on HF frequencies
  • Understand HF operating conventions and FCC rules
  • Understand electronics used in radios and modes
  • An introduction to digital modes
  • More antenna principles to build or buy HF antennas
  • Know ionospheric propagation for bands and antennas
  • Further understand electricity for safety at high power
